For Kelley, her love of drawing has always been inseparable from her love of books. As a child, she was fascinated by the classic stories and elegant illustrations found in vintage fairy tale books. When she had read and re-read every fairy tale collection the library owned, she started drawing her own, and has been drawing ever since. Her goal is to create imaginative artwork for books that will inspire and entertain children.

A member of SCBWI, Kelley will graduate with her MFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in Spring 2013. She currently resides in San Francisco, California. When not drawing, she loves cooking, reading, shopping, playing video games and spending time with her amazing husband.
